RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) 2026 Overview: भारतीय रेलवे द्वारा स्नातक (Graduate) एवं इंटरमीडिएट (10+2) स्तर के लोकप्रिय गैर-तकनीकी पदों जैसे गुड्स ट्रेन मैनेजर, मुख्य वाणिज्यिक सह टिकट पर्यवेक्षक, वरिष्ठ लिपिक सह टाइपिस्ट, कनिष्ठ लेखा सहायक, और वाणिज्यिक सह टिकट क्लर्क की भर्ती के लिए परीक्षा आयोजित की जाती है। चयन प्रक्रिया 4 मुख्य चरणों में पूरी होती है।

Stage 1: First Stage CBT (Common Screening Test)
Qualifying (15x Shortlist)
- Exam Pattern: 100 Multiple Choice Questions for 100 Marks in 90 Minutes (120 Mins for PwBD).
- Sections: General Awareness (40 Qs), Mathematics (30 Qs), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30 Qs).
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd (0.33) marks deducted per incorrect attempt. Marks are not included in final appointment ranking.

Stage 2: Second Stage CBT (Level-Wise Main Exam)
Final Merit Deciding
- Exam Pattern: 120 Multiple Choice Questions for 120 Marks in 90 Minutes (120 Mins for PwBD).
- Sections: General Awareness (50 Qs), Mathematics (35 Qs), General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 Qs).
- Conducted separately for each 7th CPC Pay Level (Level 2, Level 3, Level 5, Level 6). Normalized score determines merit.

Stage 3: CBAT (Psycho Test) / Typing Skill Test (TST)
Post Specific
- CBAT (Aptitude/Psycho): Only for Station Master (Level 6). Mandatory minimum T-score of 42 in each battery (30% final weightage).
- Typing Skill Test (TST): For Senior Clerk Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant, Junior Clerk Typist. Minimum 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi (Qualifying).
- Exempted Posts (No Skill Test): Goods Train Manager, Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, and Trains Clerk proceed directly to DV!

Stage 4: Document Verification (DV) & Medical Exam

- Candidates equal to the number of vacancies (1:1 ratio) are invited based on CBT-2 normalized marks and skill test qualification.
- Comprehensive Railway Medical Standard check: A-2 (Station Master, Goods Train Manager), A-3 (Trains Clerk), B-2 / C-2 (Clerk / Typist posts).
