BPSC CCE Selection Process (3 Stages)
Stage 1: Preliminary Exam (PT)
- Mode: Offline Pen & Paper (OMR Sheet based).
- Type: Single objective General Studies paper of 150 questions.
- Marking: +1 mark for correct answer; -0.33 mark deduction for wrong answer.
- Nature: Strictly qualifying screening test to shortlist candidates for Mains (approx. 10 times the vacancies).
Stage 2: Main Written Exam
- Mode: Offline descriptive subjective question papers.
- Compulsory Merit Papers: GS Paper 1 (300M), GS Paper 2 (300M), Essay (300M) = 900 Marks.

Stage 3: Personality Test / Interview (120 Marks)
