Step 1: Appear in CTET Exam

Candidates appear for Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5) and/or Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8) consisting of 150 objective multiple-choice questions for 150 marks.

In accordance with the Supreme Court verdict and NCTE norms, B.Ed degree holders are not eligible for Primary School (Class 1-5) appointment. Only D.El.Ed (or equivalent elementary education diplomas) are eligible for Paper 1. B.Ed candidates can appear for CTET Paper 2.
