1. Category-wise Age Relaxation (рдЖрдпреБ рд╕реАрдорд╛ рдореЗрдВ рдЫреВрдЯ)
- SC / ST Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 Years (Max age 29 years).
- OBC Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 Years (Max age 27 years).
- PwBD (Persons with Disabilities) Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxed by 10 Years (Max age 34 years).
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Upper age limit relaxed by 10 Years to the extent of service rendered in Defense Forces plus 3 years.
2. Medical Fitness Standards (рд╢рд╛рд░реАрд░рд┐рдХ рдПрд╡рдВ рдореЗрдбрд┐рдХрд▓ рдорд╛рдкрджрдВрдб)
Shortlisted candidates must submit a Medical Certificate signed by a Government Gazetted Doctor (Assistant Surgeon rank or above). Minimum standards:
- Height: Minimum 137 centimeters (cm).
- Weight: Minimum 25.4 Kilograms (kg).
- Chest: Chest expansion should not be less than 3.8 cm.
- Vision: Minimum standard of Visual Acuity (Bee-One status, 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses).
3. EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Criteria
Candidates seeking EWS reservation must possess a valid Income and Asset Certificate as on the closing date. Family gross annual income must be below Rs. 8.00 Lakh (Rupees Eight Lakh only) from all sources for the preceding financial year.
4. Merit Marks Calculation Criteria (рдореЗрд░рд┐рдЯ рд╕реВрдЪреА рдирд┐рдпрдо)
The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. For example: If a candidate has 70% in 10th and 80% in ITI, the merit average will be (70+80)/2 = 75%. (Engineering graduates and diploma holders are NOT eligible).
5. Required Documents for Document Verification (DV)
- 10th Class Mark Sheet and Certificate.
- ITI Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS (if applicable).
- Disability Certificate / Discharge Certificate (for PwBD / Ex-Servicemen).
- Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-F).
